PRACTICE
PROFILEWe are an exclusively private orthodontic practice based in Brentwood, Essex.
We do not carry out any general dentistry. Both partners are recognised by the general dental council as specialists in orthodontics.
The practice undertakes all forms of orthodontic treatment from straightforward tooth straightening procedures to more complicated cases involving the treatment of lack of jaw growth. Both children and adults are treated.

Mr. Howe undertook specialist orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London, followed by registrar appointments at the Royal Hants County Hospitals and Basingstoke District General Hospital. This was followed by a further period of higher training as senior registrar at the University Hospital of Wales. He was appointed a consultant orthodontist to North East Thames Regional Health Authorty in 1990 and holds part-time Hospital Consultant contracts with North Essex Health Authority and Havering Hospitals Trust.
He has publications in the British Journal of Orthodontics and the American Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. He has served as representative on the Central Committee for Hospital Dental Services and as Postgraduate Dental Tutor to the University of London.
Miss G. Tan undertook specialist orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London and also has a Masters Degree in Periodontics from University College Hospital. She has served as senior community orthodontist in South Essex and as associate specialist to Havering Hosptal Trust.
